EARTHQUAKE!

We interrupt this update on our Thailand holiday to inform you of the earthquake we survived yesterday. Last night we were just hanging out in the living room when Katie asked if I was rocking the couch. I wasn't, but thought that she was swinging her leg which made the couch move. We quickly realized we were in the middle of an earthquake. The video camera was right next to me so I grabbed it and took a small bit of video.

We read today that it was a 7.8 on the Richter scale. To give some perspective, the San Francisco earthquake from the World Series in 1989 was 6.9. We were about 250 miles from the quake center but we got some fun memories and fortunately we prefer our drinks shaken not stirred.

Luckily there was only minimal damage around the country and nobody has been reported hurt.
